CBI Undergraduate Researcher Margaret Steiner Named Honorable Mention from Goldwater Scholarship Competition

Margaret Steiner, an undergraduate researcher with the Computational Biology Institute, studying for a BS in Applied Mathematics, was named an honorable mention as part of the Goldwater Scholarship Competition from the Barry Goldwater Scholarship & Excellence in Education Foundation. The scholarships and honorable mentions were selected based on academic merit from a field of 1,280 natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering students nominated by campus representatives from over 2,000 colleges and universities nationwide.
